you asked what progress was being made by the
Committee set up by the Secretary of State to
consider the future of Hong Kong University.
The Committee's report is being printed and
a copy will, of course, be sent to you
formally, after it has been submitted to the
Secretary of State but meanwhile you may like
to have the enclosed advance proof copy.

Committee make; namely that they do not
consider the needs of the Colony alone justi.
